«Kazakhstan» RTRC to broadcast World Cup 2014

ASTANA. August 12. KAZINFORM -"Kazakhstan " RTRC JSC (Republican television and radio compnay) has won the tender for broadcasting FIFA World Cup 2014 on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The championship will be held from June 12 to July 13, 2014 in 12 cities of Brazil.

This will be the second consecutive biggest football event of global scale, the right for broadcastingit on the territory of Kazakhstan was won by "Kazakhstan" RTRC JSC. Last year "Kazakhstan" NTK and "Eurasia 1 Channel" successfully carried out showing the European Football Championship, which took place in Ukraine and Poland. Realization of this project in our country was highly appreciated by our partner, the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations).

2014 FIFA World Cup (64 games) will be televised on 3 channels: "Kazakhstan" NTK, "Eurasia 1 channel" and "KAZsport".

"KAZsport" will duplicate the matches that will be shown on "Kazakhstan" TV-channel and repeat all the 64 World Cup matches.

www.kaztrk.kz and www.kazsporttv.kz web-sites will provide on-line broadcasting of the matches.
