Kazakhstan remains committed to mutually beneficial int'l coop in energy sector - Nursultan Nazarbayev
"This dialogue platform over the years has become a significant event for Kazakhstan's oil industry and power engineering, as well as for foreign partners working in our country. Kazakhstan remains committed mutually beneficial international cooperation in the energy sphere. One of the principles of the country's further development is transition from mining to cooperate in the processing of the extracted energy resources and exchange of the latest technology," reads the welcoming speech of the Kazakh President voiced by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov.
The President also noted that for Kazakhstan innovation is very important, including ensuring environmental security of ield development.
"Today, our country has developed a sequence of actions to create a national model of progress, an example of which is the start of production at Kashagan field. Ahead of us there are a lot of promising projects. Oil & Gas industry, one of the key sectors of our economy, is to ensure technological leadership. I am sure that our joint work and strength of our partnership will let achieve our goals ," said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
