Kazakhstan reduced production of petroleum products

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Following the results of 2013 the country's production of petroleum products, but for condensed gas, has slightly decreased," Oil and Gas Minister Uzakbai Karabalin told at today's extended board meeting of the Ministry.
"Gasoline production amounted to 2.7 mln tons or 94% against 2012, jet fuel made 97%, and fuel diesel totaled 98.7%. Decrease in the production was mainly due to the unregulated import of oil products from Russia in the first half of the last year that led to suspension of Kazakhstan-based refineries," he added.
