Kazakhstan ratifies Protocol on free trade zone with Uzbekistan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has inked the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On ratification of the Protocol on application of the Treaty on free trade zone as of October 18, 2011 between its Parties and the Republic of Uzbekistan", the Akorda's press service reports.
The treaty on free trade zone provides the establishment of a multilateral system of preferential trade within the CIS, concluded on October 18, 2011 in Minsk. The parties are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Ukraine. Uzbekistan joined the treaty in February 2013.
