Kazakhstan ratifies agreement with Vietnam on mutual legal assistance

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani parliamentarians have passed the law on ratification of the agreement between Kazakhstan and Vietnam on mutual legal assistance in civil matters.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" was adopted by senators on Thursday. Minister of Justice Berik Imashev who introduced the bill to the Senate said it was signed to render legal assistance in civil matters to citizens of the two countries based on the principles of mutual respect of sovereignty. "Personal and property rights of citizens of Kazakhstan and Vietnam will be protected on the territory of other country. The agreement regulates the conditions and order of rendering of legal assistance," Minister Imashev added.
