Kazakhstan put on storm alert

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan has been put on alert to expect snowstorms and blizzard on Friday and Saturday. Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, predicts most regions of Kazakhstan will be affected by severe weather conditions.
Bleak wind gusting up to 25 meters per second is expected in Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Akmola and Pavlodar regions. Temperatures will drop to -34°C in these regions. The weather will deteriorate in West Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Mangystau regions as well. Saturday and Sunday will bring heavy snowfall, blizzard and colder temperatures to South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Almaty regions.
