Kazakhstan promotes thesis that European security is outside continental framework: N.Nazarbayev
The decision on holding of the Summit was unanimously adopted by the Foreign Ministers Council of the Organization member states on August 3. This proves the highest consideration of the international community of the successes of Kazakhstan people achieved during the years of independence.
"This is an evidence of great support of the efforts of our state as the OSCE presiding country", the Head of the State noted.
Kazakhstan promotes a thesis that the provision of European security is outside the continental framework. Today the world community uses the notions of Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security. Proceeding to the OSCE presidency Kazakhstan declared its intention to strengthen the role of the Organization in countering new threats and challenges, firstly, terrorism and drug trafficking.
