"Kazakhstan "invests" in youth to wide extent. This, in our opinion, is the right decision," B. Osotimehin said following the meeting with head of Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov.

B.Osotimehin noted that the aim of his visit is to develop the relationship between the UN Foundation and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of population.

"My visit to your country and the meeting with the Minister have been very productive. Today, we see Kazakhstan as a dynamically developing country, a regional hub and the center of our work in the Central Asian region," the UNFPA Deputy Secretary General said.

Acording to B. Osotimehin, an "impressive economic growth has been witnessed in many sectors, including education, healthcare and medical services in Kazakhstan".
