Kazakhstan Press Club, in partnership with Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan announces iMediaProject-2014
Faculty from the Missouri School of Journalism and the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia in collaboration with reporters from various media outlets, including The New York Times, USA Today, CNN, The Huffington Post and Pro Publica, will provide instruction on how to design and deliver multimedia content. Participants will learn how to produce digital stories and other media content, as well as build entrepreneurial skills and expertise. A five-week intensive program is designed to deliver a hands-on learning experience. Participants will build professional skills by completing the following modules: • Media Strategy and Management (November 2015); • Multimedia I (January 2014); • Data Visualization and News Design (March 2015); • Multimedia II (May 2014); • Media Entrepreneurship (June 2015); The participants who complete the coursework will receive certificates of merit, signed by our partners: the Missouri School of Journalism and the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. Those completing the 2015 iMedia Project also will be eligible to receive production grants from the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan.
