Kazakhstan presides in Interparliamentary Assembly EurAsEC

ASTANA. May 16. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan will preside in the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community. The presidency was transferred from Belarus to Kazakhstan. The press service of the Majils informs.
The transfer of presidency was held on May 15 in St. Petersburg where the parliamentary delegation of Kazakhstan headed by Chairman of the Majilis Ural Mukhamedzhanov was taking part in the events within the EurAsEC Interparliamentary Assembly, the CIS and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly on May 14-17.
U. Mukhamedzhanov chaired the 12th session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the EurAsEC on Saturday.
Besides, the deputies of Kazakhstan participated in the meetings of the Standing Committee of the CIS Inter-Parliamentarian Assembly and the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of Collective Security Treaty on Sunday.
