Kazakhstan President instructed intellectual schools to take a lead in combating low-grade textbooks

ASTANA. April 18. KAZINFORM - Today at the second meeting of the High Guardians Council of the "Nazarbayev University", the "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" and the "Nazarbayev Fund," the Head of the state instructed the intellectual schools to take the lead in combating low-grade textbooks.
"We know that there are problems with the quality of schoolbooks that is why I am instructing the intellectual schools to take the lead in solving the problem. It is necessary to organize the development of textbooks, learning materials and digital educational resources ensuring the implementation of an integrated educational program. I believe that the decisions we made today has been another step towards creating a highly competitive nation and the state", said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In order to fulfill the decisions the President instructed the Government to provide the necessary funds in the refinement of the current budget and the budget for the next year.
