Kazakhstan presented EXPO 2017 in Warsaw
At the event there was a presentation of the project of the World Exhibition in Astana and Kazakhstan invited Polish companies to actively participate in it, says the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
An initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to organize in Warsaw this advisory body brings together interested businessmen and politicians of the two countries.
"I am deeply convinced that such events help build mutually beneficial business relations between our two countries, which will define a kind of "road map" of our business cooperation in the future", said R. Zhoshybayev opening the sitting of the council.
Those present at the council the deputy governors of West Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Karaganda regions presented the economic potential of the regions to attract Polish investments.
"We hope that the joint efforts of our business community will create a solid partnership platform between Kazakhstan and Poland to expand mutually beneficial investment and technological cooperation", said the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Warsaw Erik Utembayev.
Within the council there took place a presentation of projects of Polish companies successfully operating in the Kazakhstan market in pharmaceuticals, "green" technologies, transport engineering and production of building materials.
At a meeting of the Board the Kazakh side showed a training program for the EXPO-2017 in Astana. Polish companies have shown great interest in participating in the preparations for this remarkable event.
