SSELS. May 11. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Kazakhstan plays a very important role in strengthening interethnic tolerance, preserving peace and accord in the OSCE region. Thorbjorn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe said it at the meeting with Yerik Utembayev, the Kazakh Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, Head of the Kazakhstan Mission to the EU and NATO.
The Secretary General appreciated the foreign policy activity of Kazakhstan and pointed out the dynamic work of the OSCE in the format of its three dimensions.
In his turn, Ambassador Utembayev noted that the European and US politicians supported Kazkahstan's efforts on enhancement of regional security and promotion of initiatives within the framework of the OSCE.
