Kazakhstan plans to take first place at Junior World Boxing Championship

ASTANA. July 25. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The national boxing team of Kazakhstan intends to take the first place at the Junior World Boxing Championship which is held in Astana. General manager of our team and Olympic Champion of 2000 Ermakhan Ibragimov said it the interview to journalists.
'It is the third Junior World Boxing Championship that our team participates in. It was Baku in 2007 and Erivan in 2009 and now it is Astana,' E. Ibragimov said.
He noted that each year of participation our team won more medals than the previous one. 'Every championship we win the 'gold', 'silver' and 'bronze'. Thus, we are going to become even better at this championship and moreover it is held in our country,' E. Ibragimov said.
As was earlier reported, Astana hosts the Junior World Boxing Championship. 500 sportsmen from 48 countries have arrived in Astana to take part in it.
