Kazakhstan plans to provide employment for disabled people in field of tourism

ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM Tourism Industry Committee of Kazakh Industry and New Technologies Ministry has discussed a project on creation of an integrated system of cooperation of the state bodies with representatives of the tourist business to ensure the employment of disabled people, who are able to work with a computer and office equipment, according to the ministry's press service.

The project's aim is to train tourism managers, who pass the certification, in the employment centers in all regions of Kazakhstan. The project also provides online training and testing.

During the discussion, it was also proposed to create a special website for disabled people within the development of domestic tourism programs in Kazakhstan. Tourism Industry Committee Chairman, Marat Igaliyev noted the importance of tourism trips for people with disabilities, taking into account the type and degree of disability, Kazinform refers to trend.az. He added that it is necessary to intensify efforts to attract the attention of tour operators in the development of this tourism. Work needs to be done with owners of inns, holiday camps, hotels, organizers of tourist routes to create an accessible environment for the disabled.
