Kazakhstan plans to enter Top 10 world producers of energy - PM

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan intends to enter the top ten major energy producers in the world, this has been stated by Prime Minister Karim Massimov at the Energy Charter Conference in Astana.
"We believe that in the coming years the production of energy in our country will continue to grow. We hope to be among the top 10 producers of energy. We are also going to work out a project on shale gas production," said K. Massimov.
The Prime Minister added that the development of the energy sector has allowed Kazakhstan to become one of the most powerful and economically stable countries in the world.
