Kazakhstan plans genetic lab to treat cancer

ASTANA. September 6. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan plans to organize a genetic laboratory to diagnose and treat cancer," Professor of the Research Institute of Pulmonology of Saint Petersburg Sergey Orlov said.
"I think the laboratory will be soon set up. Colleagues from Saint Petersburg are ready to render support to form the laboratory," he added.
According to him, it will let improve diagnosis of cancer diseases both in Kazakhstan and CIS and improve the results of treatment.
