Kazakhstan places high value on new partnership agreement with EU - Tokayev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has received today members of the European Parliament Daniël van der Stoep and Elisabeth Jeggle, the chamber's press service informs.
During the meeting, the sides touched upon the role of the upper chamber of the Kazakh Parliament in the political life of Kazakhstan, activities of political parties, and fundamentals of interethnic consent blooming in the country. As for cooperation with the European Union, Kazakhstani MP said Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the signing of a new EU-Kazakhstan Partnership and Cooperation Agreement. The meeting also discussed the problems of interaction within the OSCE PA, outcomes of the 3rd Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague and implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy.
