Kazakhstan performs sound macroeconomic policy – ADB Chairman Takehiko Nakao

ASTANA.KAZINFORM - Balanced macroeconomic policy coupled with favorable investment climate stipulated the sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
This has been said by Takehiko Nakao, head of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), at the 47th meeting of the ADB held in Astana. "In 2000-2006, Kazakhstan's economy grew to 10.4 %. Over the past two decades, GDP per capita increased from USD 700 to 12 thousand. Now there are a lot of attractive sectors for investment. These remarkable achievements have been made as a result of prudent macroeconomic policy and favorable investment climate", he said. According to his words ‘Kazakhstan has good prospects for further development'.
