Kazakhstan People's Assembly nominates nine candidates for Majilis

ASTANA. December 26. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ People's Assembly of Kazakhstan has nominated nine candidates for Majilis during its today's meeting.
"In forming the list of candidates for consideration of the Assembly, the working group held a detailed account of a number of important criteria, namely the regional coverage, gender equality, ensuring the continuity of the parliamentary group and the representation of major ethnic groups," Deputy Chairman of Kazakhstan People's Assembly Yeraly Tugzhanov said.
According to Kazakhstan's legislation, nine representatives from the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan shall be elected to the Majilis.
