ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A presentation of the World Expo 2015, which will be held from June 1 to October 31 in Milan, has taken place at the residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy in Kazakhstan Stefano Ravagnan.

The event was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan tourist companies. Head of the Italian diplomatic mission in his opening speech said that this year in Milan there will be presented the largest exhibition dedicated to food. He also urged Kazakhstan to become an active participant of one of the largest global events of the current year. The Ambassador added that the so-called "Kazakh house" will be constructed on the exhibition area. Italian Ambassador to Kazakhstan expressed confidence that in two years, Kazakhstan will worthily hold the international exhibition in Astana themed "energy of the future". In conclusion, representatives of the Italian tour operator "Gartour", an official partner of EXPO 2015, presented to Kazakhstan tourist companies special offerings and also explained the order of stay for foreigners in Italy at the time of the event.
