Kazakhstan participates in OSCE Human Dimension Meeting in Warsaw

RSAW. September 27. KAZINFORM Kazakh Vice Minister of Communications and Information Nurtai Urazov addressing the first working meeting of the OSCE BDIHR mentioned the new draft law of Kazakhstan "On TV and Radio Broadcasting" developed jointly with the OSCE Representative Office as one of the instances of staged liberalization of media activity in Kazakhstan.
As earlier reported, OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting convened on Monday in Warsaw, the Kazakh Embassy to Poland reports.
Government representatives and civil society activists from the OSCE's 56 participating states are taking part in the two-day forum.
Those attending focus on achievements made by participating States in honoring their human rights commitments, including in areas such as freedom of assembly and other fundamental freedoms, prevention of hate crimes, the rule of law, and trafficking in human beings.
