Kazakhstan, Oman eye strengthening trade cooperation

On October 29, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman Aidarbek Tumatov met with the Chairman of the Board of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawas, the press service of the Kazakh MFA reported.
The parties discussed the most promising areas in trade and economic sector and joint actions to increase trade turnover between the countries.
The Omani side expressed interest in Kazakh agricultural products and industrial goods, as well as confirmed its readiness to welcome a delegation of Kazakh companies in Muscat to explore the needs of the local market.
The sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between the chambers of commerce and industry of Kazakhstan and Oman in the nearest future.
