Kazakhstan OKs agreement on protection of classified information within CIS

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani MPs have ratified the agreement on the protection of classified information within the framework of the CIS.
On Friday, Senate, the upper chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, endorsed the law "On ratification of the Agreement on the protection of classified information within the framework of the CIS" at the plenary session. The agreement was signed by the CIS heads of state on October 25, 2012 in Minsk. The document was drawn up based on the provisions of the Agreement on mutual protection of classified information within the framework of the CSTO and SCO. "The agreement is called to ensure protection of classified information of the CIS member countries," said head of the Prime Minister's Office Yerlan Koshanov, introducing the bill.
