Kazakhstan, OECD to join efforts innovative economic policy project

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan will join hands with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to implement an innovative economic policy project this year, according to Vice Minister of Education and Science Takhir Balykbayev.
Vice Minister Balykbayev told journalists in the Akorda presidential residence that the project is aimed at raising Kazakhstan's competitiveness through implementation of innovative policy. "This year we will start working on the project the main idea of which is to use innovative instruments to develop our economy," he noted. In his words, Kazakhstan is mapping out a two-year plan to implement the project.
