Kazakhstan names CSTO Permanent Council chairman

Kazakhstan’s permanent representative to the Collective Security Treaty Organization Marat Syzdykov has been appointed the Chairman of the CSTO Permanent Council. It was announced during the Council meeting, Kazinform News Agency cites the official Telegram channel of the Organization.
As Kazakhstan has assumed the CSTO chairmanship from Belarus, Marat Syzdykov has been named the chairman of the CSTO Permanent Council, reads the statement.
Born in 1966 in Akmola region, Syzdykov graduated from the Seifullin Tselinograd State Pedagogical Institute, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
