TANA. September 5. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ "Kazakhstan may turn into an exporter of atomic energy, generated there in the country, and hold a strong position in the world community," Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sceince, president of the Kurchatov Institute, Russia, Evgeny Velikhov told today at the international seminar held at the Nazarbayev University.
"Kazakhstan is the most potent supplier of nuclear fuel. But we should say, it is unprofitable just to supply fuel. It is essential to deliver the end product, first of all, electric energy, generated at the nuclear power plants. I do not rule out the possibility that Kazakhstan will supply atomic electric energy when the time comes," said Velikhov.
