Kazakhstan – main contact country for NATO PA

ASTANA. June 26. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Kazakhstan is the first and principal contact country for NATO Parliamentary Assembly in the region of Central Asia Member of the French Delegation to the NATO PA Loic Bouvard has told about it today at joint Rose-Roth Seminar; Kazinform reports.
"Kazakhstan is the first and main contacting country for NATO PA in the Central Asian Region. We hope other countries of the region to enter into similar cooperation with NATO PA", - he noted.
"We welcome the progress Kazakhstan achieved on its way to consolidation of civil society, - L. Bouvard said. The country has democratic institutions and a number of nongovernmental organizations".
The Member of the French Delegation also expressed wish to exchange experience with the Kazakhstani counterparts on the issue of anti-recessionary strategy developed in the country.
