Kazakhstan, Lithuania have the potential to step up fruitful coop, MFA

ASTANA. September 5. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Today the VII meeting of the Kazakh-Lithuanian intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation convened in Astana.
Those attending focused on prospects for cooperation of the two countries in such areas as transport, logistics, IT, agriculture, education and science, healthcare and so on.
According to MFA's executive secretary Rapil Zhoshybayev, a wide range of issues concerning the current state and prospects for further development of mutually beneficial trade and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Lithuania was brought up for discussion.
The meeting ended with signing a protocol that formalizes agreements and reflects actions for further development of economic cooperation between the two countries.
