Kazakhstan, Lebanon vow to facilitate inter-parliamentary cooperation

During the meeting the diplomats noted the importance of development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Lebanon, especially at the inter-parliamentary level. The need to establish close contacts between the law-making bodies of the two countries was stressed as well. Ambassador Sarsenbayev presented the Lebanese politicians with a book "Kazakhstani-Lebanese relations: 20 years of successful partnership" published by the Kazakh embassy. He also briefed his colleagues on Kazakhstan's strategic plans to improve domestic and foreign policy and thanked the Lebanese side for continued support of Kazakhstani initiatives in the international arena. In addition, Fouad Siniora confirmed his participation in the upcoming 7th Astana Economic Forum.
