ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakhstan is among the countries that have declared sovereign development in the 1990s of last century, is a leader not only in the socio-economic and democratic progress.
Head of the PACE Observation Mission Elsa Papadimitriou has said at a meeting with Kazakh Senate Chairman Kairat Mami in Astana.
"I would like to express hope that your adherence to hold democratic elections will be implemented, and it is very good, that the President and the leadership share the opinions that a multiparty parliament is necessary," she noted.
