Kazakhstan launches 8 more criminal cases against Mukhtar Ablyazov and his accomplices

ASTANA. August 7. KAZINFORM Financial Police of Kazakhstan has initiated eight more criminal cases against fugitive banker Mukhtar Ablyazov and his accomplices, Murat Zhumanbai, the official spokesman of the Kazakh Agency for Economic and Corruption-Related Crimes told a press briefing on Wednesday.
"Ablyazov and his sidekicks are accused of committing eight more crimes, for instance, illegal use of Kazakh BTA Bank funds. The criminal investigation is underway. Other information cannot be disclosed for legal reasons," said M. Zhumanbai.
