Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan sign bilateral documents in Bishkek

BISHKEK. August 22. KAZINFORM Bilateral documents were signed in the course of the state visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Kyrgyzstan, Kazinform correspondent Marlan Zhiyembay reports from Bishkek.

President Nazarbayev and his Kyrgyz counterpart Almazbek Atambayev inked the 1^st and the 2^nd decisions of the Kazakhstani-Kyrgyz Supreme Interstate Council, the Joint Jubilee Declaration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated to 20 years of diplomatic relations between the countries.

Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev of Kazakhstan and Minister of Economy and Anti-Monopoly Policy T. Sariyev of Kyrgyzstan signed the Protocol on amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of Kyrgyzstan on establishment of the Kazakhstani-Kyrgyz Investment Fund (KKIF) as of July 11, 2007.

Other documents in the field of education, as well as transport and communications were signed.
