Kazakhstan keen to cooperate with Finland in education

ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM Bakytzhan Zhumagulov, Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, met with Finland's Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb on Thursday (October 4) in Astana, according to the Ministry's press service.
The Finnish delegation that came to Astana includes reps of 55 companies, universities and colleges.
At the meeting the ministers discussed the problems of further development and strengthening of the bilateral cooperation in higher and vocational education.
The business delegation from Finland made a presentation of the companies working in various spheres, including education.
Minister Zhumagulov stressed the importance of studying Finland's experience in development and quality of education because the country built up a reputation for high technologies and advanced research.
Upon results of the meeting the ministers reached agreement on establishing the cooperation between educational organizations of Kazakhstan and Finland.
