Kazakhstan keen on giving new impulse to settlement of conflicts particularly on CIS territory - K. Saudabayev

ASTANA. January 22. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Kazakhstan sincerely wishes to give new impulse to thesettlement of conflicts especially on the CIS territory. That is one of its most important priorities of the chairmanship in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Chairman-in-Office of the OSCE, Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev said it at a meeting with Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group for Nagorno-Karabakh conflict's regulation Friday January 22 in Astana.

"We have all grounds for this since we share certain common history with the parties involved in the conflict. We are aware of the history of the problem and have deep understanding of the current state of affairs", the Secretary of State noted.
In addition, K. Saudabayev noted Kazakhstan possessed quite reliable resources, these are high trust and authority our President enjoys among the peoples involved in the conflict.
"In this view, taking into consideration engagement of the Minsk OSCE group for a long period in settlement of the conflict we will be grateful for any information, wishes and recommendations for the Chairman-in-Office in order to give fresh impetus to realization of this mission", K. Saudabayev stressed.
