Kazakhstan, Jordan have common views on major security issues

ASTANA. January 18. KAZINFORM. Kazakhstan and Jordan reached high level of mutual understanding and have common views on major security issues in the contemporary world. This was made public at the meeting of Kazakh Defense Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov with Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of the United Staff of the Armed Forces of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Khalid Al-Sarairakh on Monday; the Ministry's press service told Kazinform.
The parties noted that the current level of cooperation was reached mainly due to the personal contacts of the heads of the two states.
The Kazakh Defense Minister informed the Jordanian side of the socio-economic and political reforms in Kazakhstan. He noted that Kazakhstan's Government paid special attention to the development of friendly relations and strengthening of cooperation with Jordan in all spheres including military one.
Both sides expressed confidence that the meeting would give additional impulse to the expansion of bilateral relations between the defense departments of the two states.
The Jordanian delegation is expected to visit Kazakhstan National University of Defense and military unit no.68665.
