Kazakhstan joined Charter of Paris against Cancer

ASTANA. February 4. KAZINFORM The World Cancer Day is marked today. Kazakhstan joined the Charter of Paris against Cancer on January 31, 2011, the press service of the Kazakh Healthcare Ministry reported.
Under the instruction of Healthcare Minister Salidat Kairbekova, Director General of the National Medical Holding Abai Baigenzhin and Director of the Kazakh Scientific and Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology Zhetkergen Arzykulov took part in the Charter signing ceremony. Kazakh Ambassador to France Nurlan Danenov signed the Charter on behalf of Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh delegation held meetings with leading French oncologists within the visit. A Cooperation Memo was also signed with the Gustave Roussy Institute of Oncology (Paris).
The singing of the Charter of Paris against Cancer by Kazakhstan means that the latest methods of diagnosis and treatment cancer will be used in our country as well.
