Kazakhstan, Japan to discuss prospects of coop in Astana

ASTANA. October 19. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A regular 10th joint sitting of the Kazakh-Japanese Commission for Economic cooperation will take place in Astana October 22.

The Kazakh side will be headed by Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Asset Magauov and the Japanese side - by Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Hiroyuki Ishige.
The session agenda includes discussion of the prospects of cooperation in energy, industry, trade, finances, investment and technological spheres, Kazinform refers to Yerzhan Ashikbayev, Official Spokesperson of the Kazakh MFA.
A protocol and an action plan are planned to be signed following the sitting, he added.
In addition, Hiroyuki Ishige will hold a number of bilateral meetings in the ministries and development institutes. The Japanese delegation will include reps of state bodies, leading corporations and specialized economic organizations.
