Kazakhstan, Japan signed agrt on coop in peaceful use of atomic energy

ASTANA. March 3. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Ambassador to Japan Akylbek Kamaldinov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country Katsuya Okada have signed an Agreement on cooperation in peaceful usage of atomic energy.
The document was signed under the agreements reached during the visit of Kazakh President N. Nazarbayev to Japan in 2008 and the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi to our country in 2006.
The agreement lays a foundation for development of the countries' cooperation in atomic energy sphere, realization of which will serve for further strengthening of the Kazakh-Japanese partnership, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh MFA.
