Kazakhstan issues storm alert as frost grips the country

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, has issued a storm alert as the country is bracing for freezing temperatures.
In some regions of Kazakhstan mercury is expected to drop to -29, -34°C today. On January 26, temperatures will drop to -25, -34°C in Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Mangystau regions. Frost will push temperatures as low as -25, -30°C in Kyzylorda region as well.
