Kazakhstan is Lithuania's important partner in CA

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Today Prime Minister of Lithuania Algidras Butkyawichus and Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrissov who is on his official visit to Vilnius have met to debate economic cooperation issues, ELTA reports.
"I believe the intergovernmental trade and economic cooperation commission will contribute to widening of bilateral ties. Projects in the area of information technologies, education and science may give a new impetus to the commission activities," the PM said. The Premier noted that Kazakhstan is an important partner of Lithuania in Central Asia. It is interested in strengthening of bilateral relations and expansion of all-round collaboration. He also expressed satisfaction with the bilateral trade growth and briefed on the prospects for the export of Lithuanian commodities. According to him, the most promising sectors are foodstuff, internet technology services, science and construction services.
