Kazakhstan is gearing up for next Astana Economic Forum

On Wednesday, Kazakh senator Serik Nogerbekov urged participants of the VIII Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY in the Kazakh capital to play an active role in the online discussion of the agenda of the upcoming Astana Economic Forum. The senator stressed that Kazakhstan hosts a lot of international forums and has earned a remarkable standing as an international discussion platform.

The Astana Economic Forum is one of the world's largest international forums founded by the "Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists" Association. The forum is held annually with the participation of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. Last forum brought together more than 12 thousand delegates from 136 countries of the world.

The VII Astana Economic Forum is to take place on May 21-23, 2014.
