Kazakhstan invites German companies for closer cooperation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Today 1st Vice Minister of Industry and New technologies of Kazakhstan Albert Rau met with representatives of VOLKSWAGEN AG on the sidelines of the international mining and metallurgical congress in Astana to discuss bilateral cooperation issues.
"I would like note that two years have passed since we concluded the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation but we still see no German companies' activity in the country," Rau said. The same time he underlined that Kazakhstan is ready for active cooperation with German companies, including VOLKSWAGEN AG. "We are ready to provide companies with subsoil assets and work at long-term supply contracts," he added.
