Kazakhstan invited to participate in World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi

ASTANA. October 12. KAZINFORM Within the European Future Energy Forum (EFEF), which is being held in Geneva, Switzerland, a Kazakh delegation has met with Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Masdar Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.

Kazakhstan at the EFEF is represented by Chairman of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Aidar Kazybayev and Director of the Electricity and Coal Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies Zhakyp Bokembayev.

"We consider the EFEF as an international platform for an open dialog between governmental and sectoral leaders, political figures, investors and experts from the whole world. And search for viable and safe alternative energy sources is a global need of the modern humanity. We are grateful to invite the Kazakh colleagues to participate in the World Future Energy Summit, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on January 16-19, 2012. For a short time the summit was recognized as one of the most authoritative meeting of world leaders of environmentally friendly technologies," Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said.
