Kazakhstan introduces state monopoly on sturgeon export starting from 2011: A.Kurishbayev

URALSK. July 22. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "Kazakhstan introduces state monopoly on export of sturgeon from natural reservoirs starting from 2011", Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev said at the session on the issues of Ural cross-border river.
According to the Minister, concrete and decisive measures on recovery of fishery resources of Ural River are necessary.
"Firstly, it is necessary to increase effectiveness of fisheries conservation activities and work on combating poaching and introduce state monopoly on extraction and processing of sturgeons and their caviar", A.Kurishbayev said.
