ASTANA. April 16. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan is interested in extending cooperation with India in all directions. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said it at a press conference after the negotiations with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Astana on Saturday.
Nazarbayev noted that the two states had many promising projects for cooperation in energy, advanced technologies, agriculture, pharmaceutics. The present volume of bilateral trade turnover of USD 370 million does not match the potential and opportunities of our countries.
"Participation of Indian companies in Kazakhstan's industrialization has good prospects. We have agreed to hold joint business forums," the President added.
