Kazakhstan intends to open an embassy in the capital of Sweden

ASTANA. April 22. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan is planning to open an embassy in the capital of Sweden. This has been informed in an interview today by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Kazakhstan Manne Vengborg, after presenting his credentials to Kazakh President in Akorda.
As noted by M. Vengborg, the Swedish Embassy in Kazakhstan opened two and a half years ago. Kazakhstan, in turn, is going to open its embassy in Stockholm this year.
"The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree on the opening of the Embassy of Sweden in late December," said the Ambassador.
According to him, today's meeting between N. Nazarbayev has confirmed the plan of Kazakhstan plans to open an embassy in Stockholm the current year.
