Kazakhstan improves its standing in 2024 military strength ranking

Kazakhstan ranks 58th of 145 out of the countries in the 2024 Global Firepower (GFP) review, improving its standing from 63rd in 2023, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
The country leads the Central Asian region in military strength according to the 2024 Global Firepower's ranking. Kazakhstan’s military expenditure stood at $7.5bn and the number of military personnel at 300 thousand.
Uzbekistan occupies 65th, Kyrgyzstan 100th, and Tajikistan 107th places in the ranking.
The 2024 Global Firepower (GFP) ranking is topped by the US, Russia, and China.
