Kazakhstan identifies 45 most profitable markets for exports – Issekeshev

"The main beneficiaries will be those sectors whose products are export-oriented. Previously under the export strategy we have identified the markets for our products. We studied 45 markets: 10 border regions of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Western China, Central Asia, and the countries that are on west of us - Turkey, the Caucasus," Issekeshev said.

The Deputy Prime Minister is confident that the further rapid development of industry is impossible without the development of exports and the Customs Union plays an important role in this respect.

He said that Kazakhstan significantly increased its exports to new markets, particularly in Afghanistan.

"Kazakhstan's export to Afghanistan has reached 300 million U.S. dollars this year. This is mainly non-oil exports. This is a serious indicator that our private enterprises have come to these markets," Issekeshev concluded.
