The contract terms were not specified as it is trade secret information. It was reported that there are no quantitative restrictions and export duties (taxes and charges having equivalent meaning) for businesses in Kazakhstan and Belarus within trilateral agreement on organization, management, operation and development of common markets of oil and petroleum products between Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. "The purchase of Belarus oil products is discussed between economic entities of the two countries, such deliveries are not economically viable due to high transport costs," said the Ministry.

KazMunaiGas has signed petrol delivery contracts with Russia despite it is not profitable for the company in order to stabilize the situation at domestic fuel market, the Ministry said.

Particularly, the contracts were signed for delivery of 69,500 tons of RON 92 petrol, 10,000 tons of RON 95 petrol and 64,000 tons of diesel fuel in August-September 2014. 9,800 tons of RON 92 petrol, 19,400 tons of diesel fuel, 2,600 tons of RON 95 petrol were shipped to Kazakhstan. 11,200 tons of diesel fuel are to be delivered soon, the Ministry concluded.
